Our team
Deborah Goodall – Facilitator and coach
My working life began in corporate communication and continues to be about helping individuals and organisations develop the vision, values and skills that allow for genuine communication and success in business.
Fascinated by the human ability to link mind to mind through the precision of language and the evocative nature of story, I am passionate about helping people apply these skills in a number of different work settings. They can then form deeper connections and drive greater progress at a personal, team, brand or organisational level.
I am a qualified coach, NLP Master Practitioner and a communications strategist and facilitator with expertise in change management and storytelling. Since 2001, I have helped hundreds of business leaders develop a compelling business story and a style that engages and attracts. My business background spans more than 20 years in law, industry, marketing services and in healthcare organisations. I was Head of Communications at Merck in the UK and MD of a specialist PR consultancy before moving on to work as a consultant, trainer and coach.
I have worked extensively in healthcare, marketing services, pharmaceuticals and technology with clients ranging from multi-national corporates to charitable foundations and owner-managed businesses.
I work with you to help you have the conversations that you most want.
Nicole Utzinger – International communications and leadership coach
I am an international communications consultant and coach, specialising in executive presence, employee engagement and storytelling in leadership. In the last 20 years I have worked with multi-diverse teams, bridging cultural gaps as well as designing, managing and delivering high-profile communications training, coaching and leadership development programmes across the EMEA region. My work has led to a number of notable culture shifts in multinational corporations across a range of industry sectors.
What drives me is my passion for people and for communication. I believe, each situation and challenge deserves a tailored approach and detailed attention, while embracing diversity and common sense at the same time. I work by combining my communications expertise, business experience and my coaching skills to achieve sustainable results. I am a Certified Co-Active Coach and hold a coaching diploma from CTI - Coaching Training Institute, accredited by ICF, International Coaching Federation.
I am quite at home delivering my coaching and client programmes in either English or German.
Adrian Goodall – Executive coach and facilitator
I help people rise to the challenges of leadership, promotion and change or to find more fulfilling ways of working. I often work with leaders seeking greater clarity of direction, improved influence, confidence, creativity, resilience and commitment.
I believe that the process of coaching is one of the most effective ways to build these qualities and actions in a way that is truly 'owned' by the client. I also know from my own experience just how powerful coaching can be in creating change.
My earlier career spans over 25 years in financial and commercial roles for companies such as Goldman Sachs and SBC Warburg (UBS), as well as board level experience as Director of Strategy at a major communications provider. For the last eleven years, I have worked exclusively in executive coaching and leadership development, delivering close to 3,000 hours of coaching. I am a certified member (PCC) of the International Coach Federation.
My coaching practice includes clients such as Tui Travel, Unilever, The London Olympics, AstraZeneca, Microsoft and Heineken, as well as SMEs and clients in healthcare and financial and professional services. I also work regularly as an executive coach at London Business School and the UK Marketing Academy. My style is positive and future-focused, tuning the level of challenge and ‘content’ to suit each person in the most productive way.
Dr Sue Mayor – Medical journalist and facilitator
Sue works with us on communications development programmes for the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
I am an experienced medical writer, editor and trainer and was recently voted UK Medical Journalist of the Year by the Medical Journalists’ Association. I have worked for 20 years in medical journalism and communications and currently combine ‘hands on’ medical writing – writing regularly for the British Medical Journal, where I was previously news editor, and for a wide range of pharmaceutical companies and other healthcare organisations – with training in writing and communications skills. I am trained in effective education, behaviour change and group work facilitation techniques.
Theresa Coligan – Executive coach and workshop leader
I am a senior executive coach and Master NLP Practitioner specialising in confidence, executive stress management and resilience-building.
I spent 18 successful years in the advertising, media and publishing industries, including roles at Saatchi and Saatchi, Zenith Media and more than 10 years at board level. My last role was as Sales Director of Emap Magazines running a large department with a budget of £150m and a place on the Executive Board. The people-side of business had always been my passion, so it was a natural progression for me to re-train and launch my own coaching practice in 2006.
During the last 12 years, I have used my coaching skills in many different industries including media, publishing, advertising, PR, entertainment, recruitment, finance, construction, healthcare and utilities. My business experience means I understands the challenges of working in fast-paced, highly dynamic industries and can work at all levels from CEOs through to executives. I help clients get straight to the heart of the issue resulting in surprisingly rapid results.
Anne Taylor – Executive coach
I am a senior executive coach working with those who are ready to take a step up in their career and achieve new levels of excellence in their communication and leadership. I specialise in personal confidence, emotional intelligence and working with successful people who tend to lead from their heads and would benefit more from leading with their hearts to better motivate and inspire their teams.
My earlier career spans 20 years working with companies such as IBM, Procter & Gamble and Nestlé where I held positions of increasing international responsibility in marketing, overall business management and business strategy development.
In the last ten years, I have developed a coaching practice that includes clients such as London Business School, the NHS, Nestlé, Lego, WH Smith, BMW, Lancome and Nestec as well as SMEs from the creative sector, research bodies and educational institutes. I coach at all levels of experience from executive to board director and CEO. My style is straightforward, encouraging, challenging, intuitive and energizing.
